FARM

Born in 86’, I am a young Sicilian man who grew up in a family of three generations of winemakers.

1940-2020

FIRST APPROACH

My first approach with wine happened at a young age and one episode in particular has marked the history of my current career, or better to say “vocation”. I made my first attempt at winemaking and, regardless of my inexperience, it turned out to be successful.

Many years later I tasted it and I came to the conclusion that it was not only a talent but also the right path to undertake.

STUDIES

I studied agricultural studies in Bologna and I decided to return to Sicily to give value to my land through my work. The process of winemaking is a long one starting from the grapes and ending with the bottling of a product having economic value. Not only I give value to my land and the wine I produce, but also to my homeland: Sicily.

To spend time working on my vineyard it was like a call, a factor I consider essential. To plunge my hands on the soil and to care for my soil first hand has made me very happy and made me feel part of a valuable process.

LOVE

FOR THE SEA

Another passion that holds me in Sicily is the sea. The connection with the seawater is another habitual passion: I love to sail, to fish and to dive. This love for the sea has made me name my wines after it: The Arrival, The Adrift, the Sea and Woods.
I define my wine as “ the wine that tastes of the sea”.
